"Before, when I was dancing I got so frustrated I would look at the floor. I thought my up was down. Now I look ahead to the horizon regardless of whether it's right or wrong. It doesn't matter.
"I was so tall all my life I always wanted to be smaller. I tried to shrink myself. With the Alexander classes I am giving myself permission to come out of my tortoise head, because it's been a habit I don't need."
